Former Moroccan Minister Ousted from Milan Real Estate Expo Amid Corruption Allegations

The former Delegate Minister in charge of the Civil Service, Mohamed Moubdie, was expelled by members of the Moroccan community in Italy from the Real Estate Fair, SMAP EXPO, held in Milan from November 1 to 3.
The Mayor of the municipality of Fqih ben Salah is accused of being involved, with real estate mafias, in dubious construction projects in the city.
For Moroccans Residing Abroad (MREs), the majority of whom are from Fqih ben Salah, the MP derives his fortune from these many real estate projects.
Last week, some 400 people were invited to the lavish wedding of his son to a French national, where no less than 200 sheep were sacrificed. This celebration sparked a lively controversy on social media.
