Former Moroccan Minister and PND Founder Abdellah Kadiri Dies at 83

The National Democratic Party (PND) is in mourning. The former Minister and Secretary General of the party, Abdellah Kadiri, died from a long illness, on Monday night to Tuesday at the Military Hospital in Rabat at the age of 83.
The late Abdellah Kadiri was a Colonel in the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) before entering politics. He created the National Democratic Party in 1982. In 2009, it experienced a merger with other political formations.
Minister of Tourism in 1991, he was elected representative in Parliament from the Berrechid constituency for several legislative terms, as well as President of the City Council of the same name. The deceased was buried on Tuesday in Berrechid after the Al Asr prayer.
