Former IMF Chief Strauss-Kahn Denies Moroccan Hotel Project, Confirms Land Purchase

Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK), former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), also former French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, disputes the information reported by the media, including Bladi.net, concerning the launch of a vast hotel project south of Tangier.
"This published information is completely fanciful," specified Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK) in a clarification sent to Barlamane.com. However, he acknowledges having acquired a large plot of land in the Sidi Mghait region south of the city of Asilah (Tangier province). Except that this plot will not house a "resort" on the Atlantic Ocean, including a hotel, a prestigious seaside resort, as well as several private villas. "It is true that I have bought a plot of land south of Asilah. I am building a personal vacation home there. This has nothing to do with a supposed resort," clarified the former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
For 16 years, Dominique Strauss-Khan has lived in Casablanca with his wife, Franco-Moroccan businesswoman Myriam L’Aouffir. In 2013, the former French minister founded the consulting firm "Parnasse International" in Morocco, which offers its services to African governments and private companies. Since 2018, he has owned a riad in Marrakech.
