Former IMF Chief Strauss-Kahn Expands Hotel Investments in Morocco

Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK), former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as well as former French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, is multiplying his investments in Morocco. He is launching a vast hotel project south of Tangier.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn is said to have acquired a large plot of land in the Sidi Mghait region south of the city of Asilah (Tangier province) with the aim of building a tourist establishment to strengthen his many investments in this field in Morocco. Since 2018, he has been the owner of a riad in Marrakech.
This new project consists of the construction of a "resort" on the Atlantic Ocean, including a hotel, a prestigious seaside resort and several private villas. Dominique Strauss-Kahn has already started to prepare the land and facilitate access to it by creating a road leading to the site, where preparatory work and infrastructure development for the project are underway.
For 16 years, Dominique Strauss-Khan has been living in Casablanca with his wife, Franco-Moroccan businesswoman Myriam L’Aouffir. In 2013, the former French minister founded the consulting firm "Parnasse International" in Morocco, which provides services to African governments and private companies. For him, the kingdom is a land of opportunities. "Morocco has great economic potential and offers huge investment opportunities," DSK stressed on May 11, 2023 during the 2nd edition of the "Promotion and Investment Days" held in Dakhla at the initiative of the City Promotion Agency.
