Forbes Names Achraf Hakimi Among Top 30 Under 30 Influencers in MENA Region

Forbes has just published its list of the 30 young people under 30 who have the most influence in the MENA region. And the Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi is on it. As is, of course, Mohamed Salah.

The Atlas Lion playing for the German Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), Achraf Hakimi, just 20 years old, is according to Forbes one of the most influential young people under 30 in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region. The goal seems to be to reveal the people from the region who have gained a good reputation before reaching the symbolic age of 30.

Forbes states in this regard: "To compile this list, we sent questionnaires to a group of people who applied. The ranking is diverse and includes people from 14 sectors and 15 different countries." From these sectors, we can mention sports, science, media, social entrepreneurship... Music.

As Forbes further states: "There are seven people of Egyptian origin, including Nour El Sherbini, the current women’s squash champion. We also have people of Arab origin living abroad, such as the Lebanese national Marwan Aboudib, based in Massachusetts, USA, but who has built a solid reputation in the design of smart cities around the world." We also note the presence in this list of six Lebanese, three Saudi women, two Palestinians...

Let us recall that Achraf Hakimi was named the best African prospect of the year at the 2018 CAF Awards ceremony. He also won, with his former club Real Madrid, the FIFA Club World Cup in 2017.
