First Coronavirus Patient in Tetouan Recovers, Discharged from Hospital

The city of Tetouan recorded its first case of coronavirus recovery. The patient left the Saniat Rmel hospital on Thursday around noon, after undergoing medical and clinical tests that confirmed her full recovery.
She had been admitted to Saniat Rmel hospital on March 20, after she and her husband tested positive for covid-19, upon returning from a trip abroad. According to the medical staff, the 68-year-old patient suffered from a chronic illness. But "she surprisingly responded well to the treatment she was given," said Dr. Mohamed Khassal to the MAP.
This is a case of recovery in Tetouan that "reflects the efforts made by the medical and paramedical teams at the Saniat Rmel hospital," added Dr. Khassal, stressing that "this case encourages all the teams to make more efforts and sacrifices."
It should be added that the hospital director affirmed that "other cases, whose infection with the coronavirus had been confirmed, are on the way to recovery."
