FIFA validates the arrival of a promising player in the Moroccan team
FIFA has officially endorsed the change of sports nationality of Ayoub Ouarghi in favor of Morocco. The young prodigy from Feyenoord joins a group of five dual-national talents who have decided to defend the colors of the Atlas Lions.
The document from the international body, dated March 16, 2026, confirms the definitive transfer of the player from the Dutch federation to its Moroccan counterpart. At only 18 years old, the captain of Feyenoord’s under-21s had recently distinguished himself by making his professional debut in a convincing victory over PEC Zwolle.

This commitment seals a major turning point for the national technical management. The former member of the Netherlands youth teams is joined by four other promising players: Oualid Agougil from Utrecht, goalkeeper Aymean El Hani from Ajax, as well as the attacking duo from PSV Eindhoven composed of Sami Bouhoudane and Benjamin Khaderi.
