FIFA validates the arrival of a gem in the Moroccan team
FIFA has officially validated the change of sports nationality of Oualid Agougil in favor of Morocco. The midfielder leads a contingent of five young dual-national talents playing in the Netherlands who have decided to join the Atlas Lions.
The document from the world body, dated March 16, 2026, formalizes the definitive transfer of the player from the Dutch federation to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. The 20-year-old midfielder from Jong FC Utrecht, who has recorded eight assists this season, is emerging as the figurehead of this new wave of arrivals.

The goalkeeper position is secured by the arrival of Aymean El Hani, who has been playing at Ajax Amsterdam since 2018. This massive offensive is part of an assumed federal strategy, inspired by the Argentine detection program, aimed at identifying and attracting dual-nationals very early on with a view to the 2030 World Cup.
