FIFA Appoints Argentine Referee Team for Morocco-Spain World Cup Clash

The referee who will officiate the round of 16 match between Morocco and Spain is known. FIFA has published his name, as well as those of his assistants.
Fernando Rapallini, the Argentine referee who officiated the match between Morocco and Croatia, has been appointed to the Morocco-Spain face-off scheduled for Tuesday at 4pm at Education City Stadium. His assistants are his compatriots Juan Pablo Belatti and Diego Bonfa.
The role of fourth official will be played by the Brazilian Raphael Claus. In charge of the VAR, there is another Argentine, Mauro Vigliano, assisted by the Colombian Nicolas Gallo. The Uruguayan Nicolas Taran is in charge of offside and the Chilean Julio Bascunan will be in support.
This round of 16 match of the World Cup is very important for the two countries. The winner will face Switzerland or Portugal on December 10 at Al-Thumama Stadium.
