Morocco to Don Traditional Red and Green in World Cup Clash with Spain

Morocco faces Spain on Tuesday in the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar. For this match, the Atlas Lions will wear their usual jersey (red top and green shorts), while La Roja will be, not in red, but in light blue and white.
The Moroccans will wear their national colors jersey in the round of 16 against Spain after finishing first in Group F with 7 points. FIFA gives the team that has obtained the most points at the end of this phase the possibility to choose its jersey for the next phase, says Sport.es, recalling that Spain finished second in their group after their defeat against Japan.
This decision is not to the liking of the Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, who had already expressed his preference for the red jersey at the start of the competition. Thus, La Roja will have to change jerseys to face the Atlas Lions for Tuesday’s match and will wear a light blue top and white shorts. A jersey that it has not worn since the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa where it beat the Netherlands and won the Cup.
