Fiat Unveils Morocco-Made Topolino: New Electric Quadricycle for Teens

Fiat presented on Tuesday in Turin its Topolino, a 100% electric quadricycle, manufactured in Morocco like the Citroën Ami.
Accessible from the age of 14 with the AM license, the Fiat Topolino is now part of the Stellantis group’s family of 100% electric quadricycles, already composed of the Citroën Ami and the Opel Rocks-e. It will be launched in sedan and convertible versions in early 2024, reports L’argus.
The Topolino stands out for its retro style and its length of more than 12 cm more than its two French and German twins. It measures 2.53 m long, 1.40 m wide and 1.53 m high, and can reach a regulatory speed of 45 km/h thanks to its 6 kW (8.2 hp) electric motor. The Italian has a 5.5 kWh battery, rechargeable in 4 hours on a household outlet.
The Fiat Topolino is inspired, at the front, by the original Fiat 500, of which it has inherited the round headlights and daytime running lights. At the rear, it resembles the new generation Fiat 500 with more simplified vertical taillights and an old-fashioned luggage rack. With its Verde Vita color, the only one available in the catalog, the Topolina has a lot of charm.
Inside, we discover a both simple and elegant decor, with seat and backrest cushions as well as a cream-colored digital speedometer, and a striped fabric storage box. We also find a travel bag, a USB fan, a Bluetooth speaker, a thermal bottle and two seat covers that turn into beach towels.
The prices of the Topolina will be unveiled in October. Its sedan version should cost less than 10,000 euros (ecological bonus of 900 € not deducted), but in any case more than the Citroën Ami (7,990 euros excluding bonus). Its convertible version should also exceed the 10,490 euros of the Ami Buggy.
