Fiat Revives Topolino: Electric Microcar Now Produced in Morocco

The Fiat Topolino is making a big splash. Produced in the Stellantis plant in Kenitra, Morocco, this car joins the Citroën Ami and the Opel Rocks-e to form a rather original trio of quadricycles.
The Topolino stands out with its own distinctive design, reminiscent of the elegant Fiat 500, and a body in summery shades. The return of this iconic vehicle symbolizes the site’s commitment to enriching its portfolio of electric quadricycles.
The Topolino takes up the technical specifications of the previous Stellantis group models: it offers two seats, a lightweight design and a composite plastic body. Its 100% electric motor, with a power of 6 kW (8.2 hp), is powered by a 5.5 kWh battery that guarantees a range of 70 km and a top speed of 45 km/h.
Topolino stands out from the other models. Despite a cubic profile similar to the Citroën and Opel models, it features two round headlights reminiscent of the Fiat 500. It stands out by not having doors and having a retractable fabric roof.
The vehicle will be unveiled to the public on July 4, 2023, before its planned launch in early 2024 on various European markets. By 2030, the Stellantis plant in Kenitra should produce around 50,000 electric quadricycles per year. As for the prices, they are unknown for the moment, but it should be in the same range as its big sisters.
