Fiancée Speaks Out After Policeman’s Suicide Following Failed Murder Attempt

Until the beginning of October, Abir was still the fiancée of the 51-year-old policeman. According to her statements to the newspaper Assabah, she thought she would be making her life with the latter, but last Saturday, October 8, he tried to kill Abir’s mother and sister. Following the dissemination on social networks of this attempted double homicide, the policeman committed suicide in Azemmour.

Abir and this 29-year-old woman met on social networks. She describes a man who seemed honest to her and who had confided in her that he was divorced and the father of two daughters, one of whom is 25 years old. Things went very quickly between the two to the point where the policeman had already started the procedures with the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) for the marriage.

"I was subjected to an investigation as required by the procedure. He had even explained it to me," she recounts. All was well for the two lovers until the day Abir discovered that her future husband was an alcoholic. Knowing the ravages of alcohol in a couple, she decides to break up with him. Which will not please the latter at all. "He sent me messages and audio recordings promising me not to act like this again." But this will happen again and again.

Finally, her relatives convinced her to end this relationship that would only lead to her ruin. It is therefore this rupture that will lead to the drama that continues to shake the entire city.
