Fez High School Teacher Assaulted by Students Over Money Demand, Three Arrested

Three students violently assaulted an IT teacher as he was leaving Ibn Khaldoun High School in Fez. The suspects were taken into custody while the victim, injured in the right leg, is receiving the necessary care at the Ghassani Regional Hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the teacher was assaulted at 6:15 pm by three students from the high school, including a former student. They intercepted him as he was leaving, according to the Provincial Directorate of Education in a statement.
The "refusal of the teacher to give them money they had asked him for" was the origin of this assault.
Alerted, the police went to the scene. The teacher was admitted to the Ghassani Regional Hospital. The high school students, for their part, were arrested.
"The dignity of the teacher is a red line for the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as for all its external services," stressed the Provincial Director, during his visit to the victim at the hospital.
