Fernando Alonso to Compete in Morocco Rally, Expanding Beyond F1

The double Formula 1 world champion, the Spaniard Fernando Alonso, will participate in the next edition of the Rally of Morocco, which will take place from October 3 to 9 in Fez.
A big name in F1 in the Kingdom of Morocco. The Spaniard Fernando Alonso will take part in the 2019 Morocco Rally. He will be supported, during this event, by the motorcycle rider, Marc Coma, five-time Dakar Rally champion, according to a Toyota Gazoo Racing press release.
According to this team, the next challenge to be taken up by Fernando and Marc, as part of their intensive training program, will be this great automotive event.
Alonso is one of the greatest racing drivers in history. To date, the only thing missing from his record is a victory in the Indianapolis 500 miles, as a double winner of the F1 championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2018, 2019), to join the Briton Graham Hill, the only holder of the automotive "Triple Crown".
The Rally of Morocco is the first rally-raid bringing together all categories (car / truck / motorcycle / quad / SSV) on various courses.
