Fenerbahçe’s Dilemma: Amrabat Rejects Italian Offers, Defies Mourinho’s Plans

While he is no longer in the plans of Portuguese coach José Mourinho, Sofyan Amrabat refuses to leave Fenerbahçe. The Moroccan international has already declined at least two offers during this summer transfer window, putting the Turkish club in an embarrassing situation.
According to the Turkish press, Amrabat has received offers from two Italian clubs that he has declined, believing that the proposed amounts of 2 million euros are largely inferior to the 5 million euros he currently earns at Fenerbahçe.
The Moroccan midfielder has expressed his wish to remain in the Turkish club, for the moment, at least until the end of his contract. A decision that counters the plans of the club’s management, who are seeking to part ways with him during this summer transfer window.
Fenerbahçe signed the Atlas Lion last season for 14 million euros with a mandatory purchase option. The player’s refusal to leave puts the Turkish club in a dilemma. The management will have to find a solution that suits both parties, before the start of the season.
