Fatal Car Crash in Belgium: Father Killed, Son Critical After Sidewalk Collision

Around 7:30 a.m., on the sidewalk of Schetsstraat and Haachtsesteenweg, a 57-year-old father and his 11-year-old son were hit by a Peugeot. The 34-year-old female driver is said to have lost control of her vehicle. The father was dragged several meters and succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while his son, seriously injured, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
