Fatal Ambulance Crash in Morocco: Patient Dies, Two Injured Near Sidi Ifni

An ambulance from the regional hospital of Sidi Ifni transporting a patient to the regional hospital of Guelmim overturned on Saturday at a bend near the commune of Lakhsas. The patient did not survive.
In a post on his Facebook account, the president of the commune of Sidi Ifni indicated that the patient died on the spot. His companion, as well as the driver of the ambulance, who were injured, were rushed to the hospital. They have been taken care of and have already returned to their respective homes, he assured.
Informed of the accident, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie went to the scene to carry out the usual findings. An investigation has been opened on the orders of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the causes and circumstances of this accident.
