Families Protest in Melilla, Seek Justice for 2013 Moroccan Navy Killings

The families, relatives and friends of Emin and Pisly, the two Spaniards killed by the Moroccan Navy in 2013, demonstrated on Monday in Melilla to demand justice.
The protesters gathered in front of the Melilla town hall to demand justice for the deaths of the two Spaniards, reports Melilla Hoy. They hold the Moroccan Navy responsible for this double murder that took place in 2013 and deplore the silence and inaction of the Moroccan and Spanish governments. On this occasion, they asked the residents of Melilla to observe a minute of silence in memory of the two young victims.
Emin and Pisly were shot dead on October 27, 2013 by the Moroccan Navy, after being hit in the chest and face, according to the results of the autopsy performed on October 31, 2013 by the Spanish authorities. A version that contradicts the one given by the Moroccan authorities who, in a statement dated November 4 of the same year, stated that "the boat, which fled at the approach of a unit of the royal navy and refused to comply despite repeated injunctions, attempted a collision maneuver with this unit, [...] the elements of the Royal Navy carried out a warning shot of 5 cartridges and then a targeted shot that mortally wounded the 2 occupants".
