Fake Lawyer Arrested in Morocco: Multiple Charges of Fraud and Identity Theft

A fake lawyer has been placed in the local prison of Ait Melloul, pending the opening of his trial, for identity theft, fraud, scam, attempted deception and breach of trust.
The individual was arrested following a complaint filed by a victim in Biougra who had entrusted him with the handling of a personal case in exchange for remuneration.
The investigation carried out by the judicial police revealed that the suspect was the subject of several arrest warrants nationwide for fraud and identity theft. In parallel, many administrative documents were seized from his home.
According to the daily Assabah, the individual managed to deceive his victims by highlighting his professional skills and his ability to resolve the most contentious cases within the courts. He even claimed to have the power to intervene with the judicial system.
