"Scoop Sidi Slimane", a Facebook page followed by more than 26,000 people, stands out in the art of blackmail and defamation, targeting the inhabitants and some personalities of the city of Sidi Slimane, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
The victims of the account intend to organize a sit-in in front of the Sidi Slimane municipal council. They have issued a statement to denounce the person responsible for this account of blackmail, defamation and incitement to hatred. Their wish is that the scientific police of Casablanca take up the case to identify and arrest the administrators of the page. According to them, one of them lives in Canada.
A year ago, the judicial police of Sidi Slimane had opened an investigation where several victims of "Scoop Sidi Slimane" had been heard. On January 22, the police services had questioned a municipal official accused of being involved in this scandal, following a complaint filed with the prosecutor of the king near the court of first instance of Sidi Slimane.
The victims have also written to Mohamed Abdennabaoui, president of the public prosecutor’s office, asking him to lend a hand in this case.
