Extreme Heat Wave Grips Morocco: Temperatures Soar to 44°C in 22 Provinces

A heat wave will hit several provinces of Morocco from Thursday to Saturday, warns the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
During this period, temperatures will vary between 41 and 44°C, specifies the General Directorate of Meteorology in a special weather bulletin at the orange level.
These temperatures will be recorded in the provinces of Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Béni Mellal, Chichaoua, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Smara, Essaouira, Fquih Ben Salah, Guelmim, Khémisset, Khouribga, Marrakech, Rhamna, Settat, Sidi Ifni, Tan-Tan, Tarfaya, Taroudant, Tata, Tiznit, Youssoufia and Zagora.
