European Scouts Flock to U17 Africa Cup in Search of Young Talent

Several European clubs are closely following the young Moroccan and African talents taking part in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations being held in Morocco from March 30 to April 19.
According to Hesport, more than 70 recruiters from 50 European clubs will be in Morocco during the tournament period to uncover young talents or observe the performance of players they have been closely following in order to engage in negotiations for their transfer during the next summer transfer window.
A Real Madrid recruiter is said to have been impressed by the performance of Atlas Lion Abdellah Ouazane during the match against Zambia at the El Bachir stadium in Mohammedia. He plans to write a detailed report on the young Moroccan player who has particularly shone with the youth team of Ajax Amsterdam.
The Moroccan U17 team is leading its group with 7 points, after correcting Angola 5-0 and drawing (0-0) against Zambia and winning 3-0 against Tanzania. It has just qualified for the next round.
