Manchester United Scouts Eye Moroccan Prodigy Abdellah Ouazane at U17 AFCON

Manchester United is showing interest in a Moroccan gem nicknamed "the next Jude Bellingham," who is shining with the Atlas Cubs at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco U17).
Abdellah Ouazane is in Manchester United’s sights. The latter is in search of young players with higher potential like the Amsterdam native. The club’s scouts saw the young player perform well at the U17 AFCON in Morocco last week, reports Daily Mail. He contributed to his team’s qualification for the tournament’s semi-final. This will pit Morocco against Ivory Coast next Tuesday in Mohammedia (20:00 GMT+1).
At only 16 years old, Ouazane is shining with the Atlas Cubs at the U17 AFCON. He is making such an impression that he is considered the most remarkable player of the tournament, "the next Jude Bellingham". His professional qualities are that he is athletic and excellent with the ball at his feet. The young talent is a versatile midfielder with a strong dribbling ability and an eye for both goal and passing.
"He’s a player we’re counting on a lot. He can make the difference. He was born in 2009, we often forget that. He’s a year younger than the others. But he plays for Ajax and he’s full of talent," admits Moroccan coach Nabil Baha. He adds: "Today, 100% is no longer enough. Everyone gives 100%. What we need is 120%. And he’s capable of it."
Manchester continues to monitor Ouazane’s performances, but is considering an approach to Ajax.
