Elderly Swiss Executive Found Dead in Casablanca Apartment, Police Investigate

The lifeless body of a Swiss national was found, bathed in a pool of blood, in an apartment located in the C.I.L. neighborhood of Casablanca. It was last Thursday, June 20. He was killed by a gunshot to the chest.
The alert was given by one of the two housekeepers working for the Swiss national. Aged 84, he held the position of company executive during his lifetime. According to the first elements of the investigation, the thesis of a suicide is not ruled out.
The elements of the Judicial Police of Casablanca cordoned off the neighborhood and began their investigations, with the help of the Technical and Scientific Police. The two housekeepers were heard as part of the investigation.
The victim’s body was transported to the Medico-Legal Center for autopsy purposes, in order to determine the actual causes of death. The investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, could determine whether the death is of a criminal nature or simply a suicide.
