Swiss Paraglider Dies in Tragic Accident Near Marrakech
Tragedy in Marrakech where a Swiss tourist has died under circumstances that remain to be determined by the investigation that has just been opened by the police.
According to the newspaper Al Massae, it was following a fall in the Marrakech region that the Swiss died. The latter was indulging in his passion, paragliding, but his parachute did not open, local sources told the newspaper, adding that he then crashed to the ground, leading to his death.
The victim’s body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy and to try to determine the exact reasons for the tragedy. The public prosecutor’s office, for its part, has ordered an investigation.
The body of the 38-year-old victim will then be repatriated to his country of origin after the usual administrative procedures.
