Elche CF striker Elias Benali has decided to turn his back on the Moroccan national football team to join the Algerian team.
Elias Benali will no longer play for Morocco. He is now one of the new players from Spain, called up by Algeria to strengthen the U18 selection, reports La Gazette du Fennec. The Algerian team has called up these players for the double confrontation against France scheduled for October 9 and 12 in Clairefontaine.
Striker Elias Benali had until now defended the colors of the Moroccan flag. He had joined the Atlas Lions at the U17 level in 2020.
