Morocco Bolsters World Cup Qualifying Squad with Four New Players

Four new players have just joined the ranks of the Moroccan football team to strengthen the team as part of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. They will therefore be part of the next training camp of the Atlas Lions.
Vahid Halilhodzic intends to give himself every chance of achieving his objectives with regard to the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. This involves strengthening the team with new faces. Among the players who will be called up during the preparation camp of the Atlas Lions to be held at the end of August, there is the Queens Park Rangers midfielder, Ilias Chair, the Fiorentina player, Youssef Maleh, Sofiane Diop of AS Monaco, and Naoufal Bannis of Feyenoord Rotterdam, reports Al Akhbar.
According to the daily, the coach and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) have used all the arguments to convince these four players to join the national team, especially with the reluctance of Sofiane Diop whose parents were pushing him to choose the Senegalese national team. But he chose to be tempted by the Moroccan adventure.
During the next training camp of the Lions, Vahid will summon the Wydad player Yahya Attia Allah in order to strengthen the defensive block. He also plans to work on the left flank occupied by Achraf Lazaar. The player would have shown some signs of weakness since his departure from Watford. But he is not the only one whose level worries the coach. There are also these players whose status in European clubs is not yet clear. He is therefore waiting for the start of the season to have a definitive idea on the players who will be part of this preparation camp.
