Egypt to Host 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Wary of Potential Morocco Matchup

After several months of suspense, the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will finally be held in Egypt, the African Football Confederation decided yesterday.
Very ambitious for this continental competition, the land of the Pharaohs nevertheless fears playing against Morocco, just confided the president of the Egyptian Football Federation Hany Abo Rida. "The most important thing is not to fall into the same group as Morocco," he said on the microphone of Radio Mars, thanking the Moroccans for having voted in favor of his country.
And the figures confirm the fears of the Egyptian official, since in the last 24 matches played against the Atlas Lions, Egypt has only won 4 matches against 14 for Morocco.
The last match between the two countries was won by Egypt. The Moroccans had lost in the quarter-finals of the 2017 Africa Cup.
