Two Earthquakes Strike Morocco’s Driouch Province Within Minutes

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that two new earthquakes of magnitude 4 and 3.8 on the Richter scale shook the province of Driouch this Sunday, February 6, 2022.
The first shock, with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale, occurred at 07:17:04 (GMT+1), according to the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING in a seismic alert bulletin. The felt shock had a depth of 10 km, a latitude of 35.597°N and a longitude of 3.640°W.
The second shock, with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale, occurred at 07:20:07 (GMT+1) with a depth of 6 km, a latitude of 35.688°N and a longitude of 3.609°W, according to the same source.
