Dutch Politician Launches Petition to Keep Star Player Ziyech at Ajax

A Dutch politician, Lodwejik Asscher, has just asked Ajax Amsterdam to keep Hakim Ziyech (whom he describes as a magician) in its ranks. And he has even launched an online petition to prove that this is the will of most of the club’s supporters.

Lodewijk Frans Asscher, leader of the Labour Party (PvdA) and former Minister of Social Affairs and Employment and Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands from 2012 to 2017, has asked Ajax to keep Ziyech on the team and to give him a golden contract so that he stays and stays for a long time.

It should be noted that the Atlas Lion is on his way out, heading to Bayern Munich. Hence the politician’s actions. The latter has even launched a petition on his Twitter account for this purpose. And the latter has collected the signatures of more than 10,000 supporters as of Friday evening.

The political leader stated: "Ziyech is a magician. He is the brain of Ajax, a hard worker, an ingenious technician." In addition, he declared: "Let the children dream. Ziyech doesn’t need to go to a big club, he’s already in a big club," before asking: "Keep him for many more seasons."
