Ajax Star Hakim Ziyech Set to Extend Contract After Transfer Speculation

After several months of waiting for offers from major European clubs, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is about to finally extend his contract with Ajax Amsterdam.
Like a bride waiting for a serious suitor, the Moroccan national team player has finally hung up. This decision is also supported by the Ajax management, who, in view of his good performance last season, are ready to renew his contract.
With a release clause, Hakim Ziyech had obtained the blessing of Ajax to ensure his departure. Unfortunately, the offer expected by the Atlas Lion and Ajax was too expensive for the clubs that tried to recruit him on their bench. Even Sevilla learned it the hard way, being gently turned down by the staff of the Dutch champion. According to Hakim’s admissions, no club likely to dislodge him has so far made a concrete move.
In addition to Seville, Bayern Munich would also be interested in Ziyech’s profile. "Hakim Ziyech is one of the players who could provide more depth in the extended offensive positions" of Bayern Munich, it is said.
Faced with uncertainty, the Ajax management wishes to extend Ziyech’s contract beyond 2021. To this end, negotiations have been initiated with the player’s agent, Mustapha Nakhli, to settle Ziyech’s extension after those of his teammates Onana, Tadic, Mazraoui, Tagliafico and, very recently, Neres.
The Moroccan international remains, for the time being, one of the key pieces of Ajax. As such, the conditions offered by the Ajacides could make him the highest paid player in the Dutch championship, with an estimated salary of 3 million euros net per year.
