Driver Arrested in Marrakech for $100,000 Theft from Employer’s Villa

The judicial police of Marrakech arrested a driver who stole the sum of one million dirhams from his employer. He was brought before the public prosecutor at the court of first instance for breach of trust.
In a complaint filed with the judicial police of Marrakech, the victim stated that she had noticed the loss of a sum of one million dirhams from her villa located in the Bouakkaz-Prestigia district in the Menara district.
After the police investigation, the driver was identified as the perpetrator of the theft. Arrested and questioned, he admitted the facts, before being placed in detention.
Found in the driver’s car parked near the villa, the sum was recovered by the police.
