Drama in Morocco: a mother dies after a 23-meter fall into a well

The victim was 53 years old and the mother of four children. She was visiting her parents when she fell into an old well about twenty meters deep located inside the family home.

Despite the efforts of civil protection, assisted by local authorities, the royal gendarmerie and the inhabitants of the region, the victim did not survive. After the recovery of the body, it was transferred to the morgue for an autopsy.

The competent public prosecutor’s office ordered the opening of a judicial investigation. The investigations will have to determine the exact causes of this accident, the circumstances of the fall being for the moment described as mysterious.
