Dozens of Moroccan Students Sickened by Food Poisoning at School Party

No less than 44 children fell ill in Chichaoua after being poisoned during an end-of-year school party. The situation occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019. One student had to be taken to the hospital to receive the necessary care.
They traveled for joy and good humor but they ended up sick. 44 students from a school group in Chichaoua were, according to the media Rue20, intoxicated by the products they ate during the end-of-year party.
They all had fever and vomiting, the consequence of the food poisoning they were victims of, according to the same source. The local authorities and the staff of the Ministry of Health rushed to the scene to assist them. The media does not specify the cause of this food poisoning.
The same source explains that a press release from the Provincial Directorate of National Education confirmed that 44 students were indeed poisoned but that only one of them had to be taken to the hospital to receive other types of care. The 43 others were treated on site; they were given medicines and adequate care, which proved sufficient to cure them.
