Decapitated Body of Young Woman Found in Morocco’s Ifrane Region, Police Launch Investigation

Police are on high alert after the discovery of the decapitated body of a woman in the Ifrane region.
Sources cited by the website Telquel indicate that the body of this woman in her twenties was found in a village in the Middle Atlas before being transferred to the Azrou hospital to be identified and determine the exact circumstances of the crime.
According to the same source, the region is on alert and reinforcements and auxiliary forces and gendarmes have arrived from the provinces of Ifrane and Khénifra.
For the moment, neither the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) nor the Ministry of the Interior have commented on this death, which occurs two weeks after the death of two Scandinavian tourists in the Marrakech region.
