Deadly Mistake: 5 Die After Consuming Hand Sanitizer in Moroccan City

The police services of Taourirt arrested individuals who were marketing a hydroalcoholic gel following the death of five people. The latter had drunk the gel thinking it was alcohol.
Five alcoholics died after drinking hydroalcoholic gel used in the fight against coronavirus, reports Assabah. The discovery of a body in an advanced state of decomposition alerted the authorities of the city. Subsequently, four other corpses were found. After the usual findings, the bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue for autopsy.
The security services of Taourirt conducted investigations that proved fruitful. The individuals who were selling the disinfectant to alcoholic people were arrested. Investigators also seized several bottles of this product.
For now, the police are continuing the investigations in order to arrest all the people involved in this case.
