Deadly Food Poisoning Strikes Tangier: One Dead, Another Hospitalized as Authorities Investigate

A man in his thirties died in Tangier and another was hospitalized after developing severe symptoms, attributed by medical sources to food poisoning. The incident occurred in the Aouama neighborhood.
According to information obtained by Achkayn from local sources, the 32-year-old victim could not be saved by the medical team due to the rapid deterioration of his health condition, while medical sources estimated that the causes would be related to the consumption of a contaminated food.
The incident also affected a friend of the deceased, who presented similar symptoms. He was also taken to the hospital and was able to receive emergency care that stabilized his condition and saved his life.
As a result, the security services have opened an investigation to determine the exact causes of the event. The conclusions now depend on the results of the ongoing medical analyzes, which aim to formally identify the source of the contamination.
