Deadly Delay: Teen’s Tragic Death Ignites Stray Dog Crisis in Casablanca

A 13-year-old boy died in Casablanca from complications related to a dog bite more than a month ago. Yet another incident that reignites the debate on the need to put an end to this phenomenon.
According to the victim’s family, the minor had been bitten by the animal about 40 days ago, but had not received any care, as the wound was deemed not very deep and did not show any worrying signs.
The boy’s condition then deteriorated after the appearance of rabies symptoms. The minor was taken to the hospital to receive appropriate care. Unfortunately, he succumbed to this stray dog bite.
The victim’s family has urged the competent authorities to take urgent measures and organize campaigns to fight the phenomenon of stray dogs, which has become a threat to the safety of citizens, especially children.
