Two Dead, Two Injured as Wall Collapses at Casablanca Construction Site

Drama in Casablanca where two construction workers died following the collapse of a wall adjacent to the construction site where they were working. Two other workers were also injured.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Gironde and Khouzama streets, local authorities cited by the MAP report, who specify that several hours were needed for the rescue services to extract the victims’ bodies.
"The rescue operations were made difficult by the risk of the rest of the wall collapsing," these sources explain, adding that the two injured workers were evacuated to the provincial hospital.
And to ensure that as soon as the incident was reported, the local authorities, the security services and the Civil Protection units had mobilized to assist the injured.
