Bus Collision in Morocco’s Tiznit Region Injures 20, Some Critically

A new tragedy on Moroccan roads with the collision yesterday of two vehicles leaving about twenty injured, some of them in serious condition.
Few details have been given so far, but according to local authorities it was a collision between a passenger transport bus and a pickup truck that occurred in Oulad Jerrar, in the Tiznit region.
All the injured were admitted to the Hassan 1st Hospital in Tiznit, the authorities say, with two people suffering from fractures to the arms and shoulders.
Earlier this week, the overturning of a staff transport bus in the Agadir region left two dead and about twenty injured. The victims had all been transferred to the Hassan II Hospital in Agadir for necessary care, and employees of the Anza industrial zone had held a protest, expressing their anger and protesting against their working and transportation conditions.
