Dakhla, Morocco Named Top 10 Travel Destination for 2020

Dakhla is one of the 10 best destinations that tourists can visit this year. This is indicated by the ranking of the travel agency, Intrepid Travel.
Intrepid Travel has ranked Dakhla in the top 10 best destinations to visit in 2020, reports Lonely Planet. The Australian agency encourages tourists to treat themselves to a trip to Dakhla and Marrakech.
According to Intrepid Travel, the city owes this position to its white sand dunes, crystal-clear beaches, seafood and the hospitality of its inhabitants. In addition, Dakhla has a temperate desert climate, cooled by the cold Canary Current that runs along the North African Atlantic coast.
Over the years, the city has gradually established itself as a well-known tourist destination. The Moroccan government has also launched a number of development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and boosting tourism in Dakhla.
Tourism in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region has seen a 21% increase, former Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Crafts and Social Economy, Mohammed Sajid, said on July 20, 2019.
In total, nearly 13 million tourists visited Morocco last year. A record number for the country.
