Dakhla Tourism Council Unveils Post-COVID Recovery Plan to Boost Local Travel

After three months of suspension of tourism activities following the Coronavirus, the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) has put in place a plan to fight the health crisis.
The CRT aims to promote the Dakhla region by boosting local and domestic tourism. To this end, four points coordinate this action plan. There is promotion, product development, communication and animation.
In addition, the CRT plans to modernize the sector by promoting cultural heritage online. The CRT also plans to establish partnerships with Moroccan travel agencies. It is also necessary to raise awareness among tourists to respect the barrier gestures related to Covid-19.
This plan will also be accompanied by a communication strategy aimed at enhancing the assets of the region and consolidating its attractiveness for tourists.
Meanwhile, Dakhla is preparing to make public places and streets more attractive in order to attract more tourists to the region.
