Cristiano Ronaldo Sends Birthday Wishes to Comatose Moroccan Soccer Player

The Portuguese international and current player of Juventus in Turin, Cristiano Ronaldo, has, as he often does, taken possession of his Instagram account to send a message. This time, it concerns a Moroccan player in a coma.
"Hello Nouri, it’s Cristiano, I wanted to wish you a happy birthday and a speedy recovery. I wish you only the best, take care of yourself," said Ronaldo to the Moroccan Abdelhak Nouri, former player of Ajax Amsterdam.
Nicknamed "Appie", Abdelhak Nouri suffered a cardiac arrest nearly two years ago during a friendly match, causing him irreversible damage.
Questioned a few months after his son’s accident, his father, Mohamed, could not hide his emotion. "It’s hard for me to talk about it. We barely dare to enter his room. Nothing has changed. Everything has remained as it was," he confided.
According to Mohammed, his son reacts to the voices of his family and the verses of the Quran. He even smiled when a football was placed in his hands. "When we put a football in his hands, we saw a smile on his face," explained Mohamed, in tears.
