Cristiano Ronaldo breaks the record of a Moroccan player

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken the historic goal-scoring record of Moroccan player Abderrazzak Hamdallah for the Al-Nassr club. He now has 116 goals scored for the Riyadh team after his goal scored on Wednesday during the victory against Damac (2-1) in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese striker found the back of the net in the second half on a decisive pass from Joao Felix. Thanks to this performance, he officially surpasses the Moroccan Abderrazzak Hamdallah, who had scored 115 goals for the club between 2018 and 2021. Ronaldo thus confirms his exceptional form with a total of 90 goals scored in only 93 appearances since his arrival in Saudi Arabia in January 2023.

The Portuguese star is also approaching a global peak in his career. He now has a total of 960 official goals and is only 40 units away from the symbolic milestone of 1,000 goals. Currently leading the top scorers’ chart in the league this season, he is ahead of his competitors with 16 goals in 16 matches.
