The health measures taken since December in Belgium in places of worship, due to the spread of the Omicron variant, are maintained, announced the Executive of Muslims of Belgium (EMB).
In a press release, the Muslim organization said that the last meeting of the consultation committee to rule on easing in the cultural and sports sectors did not lift the health restrictions.
Consequently, the Executive indicated that these restrictive measures are still in effect, urging the faithful to redouble their vigilance and scrupulously respect all the decisions issued by the authorities in this sensitive period to preserve public health.
