Court Removes Nador City Council President and Deputies Amid Irregularities

The Administrative Court of Oujda decided this Thursday, November 21 to dismiss the President of the Municipal Council of the city of Nador and his deputies from their duties. With this decision, the executive of the province of Nador is decapitated.
This dismissal takes effect immediately, reports article19. Soulimane Houliche, Allal Fares and Houssine Ouhelli are affected by this judicial decision. They are respectively the president and the two vice-presidents of the municipal council of Nador.
The first is a member of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), as is the third, while the second is a member of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), according to a PAM spokesperson.
"The irregularities noted by the inspectors of the Ministry of the Interior in the management of the city of Nador" led the governor of the province to initiate proceedings against the three political leaders. The question remains whether the three dismissed will be brought to trial.
