Coronavirus Outbreak Forces Cancellation of Major International Forum in Morocco

The 6th edition of the Crans Montana Forum in Dakhla, scheduled to be held from March 18 to 21, is a victim of the coronavirus epidemic raging in many countries around the world, including Morocco. For this reason, the organizers have decided to cancel it.
According to Map, everything was ready to welcome an impressive number of high-ranking officials from around the world to Dakhla, on the occasion of the 6th annual session in Morocco. "We have unfortunately, like so many other major events, been caught up by the Coronavirus," announced the founding president of the Forum, Jean-Paul Carteron, in a press release.
He explained that "the Crans Montana Forum can only bow to the decision of the authorities of the Kingdom, and that the Dakhla Forum will therefore not take place in March 2020 as planned." He added that in view of the current situation related to the epidemic, nothing can be considered for the coming period. "It will be up to us to advise on the future when the situation has improved and is definitively stabilized," he specified.
The Crans Montana Forum is an exclusive meeting point for top decision-makers from governments and businesses, who come to share their experiences, exchange ideas and build the networks necessary for their missions.
