Coronavirus Hotspots: Rabat and Casablanca Lead Morocco’s Case Count

The regional distribution of confirmed coronavirus cases places the cities of Rabat and Casablanca at the top of the list. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Health on Friday evening.
The Casablanca and Rabat regions each have 20 cases of contamination. They are followed by the Fès-Meknès region, which had 19 confirmed cases in the previous report, and was at the top of this ranking of infections.
Just like Fès-Meknès, Marrakech-Safi has not recorded any other cases since the last report released by the Ministry of Health. The same goes for the other regions of the Kingdom, with the exception of Tanger-Tétouan-Al-Hoceima, which has seen its report revised upwards with two new cases, thus reaching 7 confirmed cases. Next come Souss Massa with 6 cases, the Oriental with 4 cases, Beni-Mellal Khénifra with 2 cases and Guelmim Oued Noun with only 1 case.
