Morocco Reports 68 New Coronavirus Cases, Total Rises to 602

According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health, Morocco recorded 68 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last twenty-four hours, until 6 pm, bringing the official toll to 602 cases.
The number of declared cured patients and the number of recorded deaths stand respectively at 24 and 36 in the last twenty-four hours, the ministry specifies. In total, 2,298 people have tested negative.
With a total of 176 cases, Casablanca-Settat remains the region most affected by the coronavirus in the kingdom. The regional breakdown is as follows: Casablanca-Settat (167), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (105), Fès-Meknès (105), Marrakech-Safi (107), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (39), the Oriental (23), Souss-Massa (18), Béni Mellal(18), Daraa-Tafilalet (8), Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
55% of confirmed cases are men while 45% are women, says Mohamed El Youbi, director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.
